Where to Get Your Pies for Thanksgiving in Washington D.C.

BY Blog Editor

It’s hard to find a group of people to agree on one thing (let alone a family!) but if there’s one thing we all love about Thanksgiving – it’s the pie. Vegans, meat lovers and sweet tooths align for America’s favorite dessert, a warm apple pie after a Thanksgiving meal.

Whether your family is a pumpkin, pecan or lemon meringue fan, there’s a local Washington D.C. bakery to get your favorite for the family feast. You can get one of these local bakeries delivered to your Wray apartment, or take a short trip away to one of these local pie shops.

And of course, you always have the option to use your state-of-the-art kitchen in your Wray apartment for your own pie perfection!

Baked and Wired – This local family bakery located in the heart of Georgetown and has been serving up baked goods since 2001. They produce small-batch baked goods prepared from family recipes and handcrafted coffee from roasters all across the country. Pies are available by the slice in store, or you can order a whole pie to bring home. Each one is baked in a glass pyrex dish for that extra homey feel – and each dish is refundable for $10. Get your orders in early, this place fills up it’s order slots pretty quickly!
